Ramadan 2020 will take place between 23/24 April & 23/24 May (depending on moon sightings). This year Ramadan will be a very different experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We must continue to live our daily lives in accordance with public health guidelines. It is unlikely that social distancing measures will be lifted during Ramadan. Unfortunately it is unlikely that there will be congregational prayers or gatherings outside of the home during Ramadan. This means no taraweeh prayers at the mosque or anywhere else, no iftars among friends and family outside of our homes. However we can still endeavour to keep the Ramadan spirit at home.
We hope to bring you some videos during Ramadan on our facebook page: www.belfastislamiccentre.org.uk
