The solace we can take is those who passed:
Died as martyrs
Died in a state of wudu
Died during Jumuah Salah
Died on a blessed Friday
Died in the blessed month of Rajab
We who live on should honor their memories by tawbah, getting right with God and serving His creation
Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 154:
وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ
📍And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive📍
Please do not share videos of the attack as the videos are very graphic. There are also members of our local communtiy who have loved ones who have died in this atrocity and who may have opened such videos without realising the content.
And finally I ask kindly ask all of you across Northern Ireland and beyond to remember our brothers who have passsed away in your duas on this blessed day.
