As part of the UK wide Visit My Mosque Initiative, Belfast Islamic Centre opened its doors on 3rd March 2019. As with previous years we had a fantastic response and estimate around 150-200 people attended on the day. As well as meeting members of the community and learning more about our faith and community, visitors could try on hijab, have their names written in Arabic and have henna tattoos as well as a cup of tea and something to eat including homemade basbosa and other traditional treats. We had a fantastic group of volunteers this year and would like to thank them for all their help in arranging the day. JazakAllah khair.
