Visit My Mosque 2018

On the 18th February Belfast Islamic Centre took part in the Muslim Council of Britain’s ‘Visit My Mosque’ initiative.  Over 200 members of the public attended including political representatives, other faith leaders and representatives and media.  We had 3 ‘Ask the Imam’ sessions facilitated by Sheikh Anwar. In addition over 20 volunteers helped prepare, tidy up, guide and arrange refreshments on the day.  JazakAllah Khair for making the day possible. It was a fantastic opportunity to share more about our community and break down many of the stereotypes about our faith.
